The Northampton Memorial Community Center, 16th Street and Laubach Avenue, will host a New Year's Eve party, 6 p.m.-1 a.m. The cost includes hors d'oeuvres, a family-style dinner and open bar. Entertainment will be provided by Jimmy K Productions. For cost and tickets, call 610-261-1113.

St. John's Friendly Fifties will meet Monday, Jan. 12, 1 p.m., in the church's social hall, 1343 Newport Ave.

Pianist Steve Myers will entertain. If Northampton schools are delayed or closed, the meeting will be rescheduled for Jan. 19.
