Northampton's volleyball team enjoyed a minor surge of momentum last week, but the Kids were dealt a blow in that department since coming back into local East Penn Conference play.
Northampton (4-9) was eliminated from the postseason following Monday's three-game sweep at the hands of Parkland.
After stringing together three-straight wins against Catasauqua, East Stroudsburg North and Pocono Mountain East, the Kids fell to Central Catholic and Nazareth before Monday's defeat to the Trojans.
All three of those losses came via three-game sweeps, which has been a trend for the Kids in local EPC action this season.
Northampton took on Emmaus Wednesday and finish off the week against Whitehall, before completing the season against Central Catholic and Nazareth next week.
