The Northampton golf team picked up a couple of wins as their season started last week.

The Kids defeated Pocono Mountain West 488-494 at par-72 Pocono Farms Country Club.

Carter Test led the way with an 80 to top all scorers. Mike Kovalchik shot a 94, Jack Test a 97, Corey Feist a 99 and Adam Schissler a 118.

Pocono was led by Tim Gaudette's 82.

In a tri-match with East and Eastburg South at Southmoore's par-71, the Kids split, falling to Easton 408-441 and beating Eastburg 441-487.

Carter Test had the low round of the day with a 74. Easton's Paul Fedele and Eastburg's Chris Toleno both had a 76.

For the Kids, Mike Kovalchik shot an 82, Taylor Foust an 85, Jack Test 88 and Adam Schisler a 112.
