The East Allen Township Blast played in the Parkland Youth league in the Biddy Division. They finished the regular season with a record of 10-2. In the playoffs the team defeated Laurys Station and Hamilton Park Blue to go to the championship. East Allen played Orefield in the championship on June 25 in Coplay. On top of it being a championship game, the contest went extra innings and was tied 3-3 in the top of the 8th when lighting struck. The game was called and both teams were crowned co-champions. The Blast had 10 players and 5 of them had never played the game before. The team played their hearts out and worked everyday with their parents. A special thank you to Michael Melosky for helping the team get better in practice this year. The team was coached by Kevin Rota.
