Coordinated Health celebrated the opening of a gynecology and plastic surgery practice Jan. 24 at 1405 N. Cedar Crest Blvd., South Whitehall Township.

Gynecologists Bruce Viechnicki, M.D., Gayllyn Faust Rakos, D.O. and Deborah Villeneuve, M.D. provide a full-range of care throughout the spectrum of a woman's life, from adolescent gynecology through menopausal management and geriatric medicine.

This new Women's Health facility provides several diagnostic and therapeutic modalities for the diagnosis and treatment of various diseases.

Two of these test for genetic markers that may indicate certain cancers, such as colon or ovarian.

Additionally, the practice uses diagnostic ultrasound equipment to help diagnose a host of gynecological diseases.

These include ovarian cysts, endometriosis, fibroid tumors and a wide range of pelvic abnormalities.

Also available is a treatment to help smooth and shape one's body.

Cosmetic and reconstructive surgeon Gregg Guilfoyle, D.O. offers same day procedures for men and women, such as Botox, Juvederm, and VASER Shape, a non-surgical treatment using higher levels of ultrasound, which target problem areas that do not respond to diet or exercise.

He also works with breast care team to perform breast reconstruction.
