ArtsQuest celebrates 10th annual Linny Awards
The ArtsQuest Foundation honored nine individuals and organizations during the 10th annual Linny Awards presented by Elaine Emrick on Oct. 15 at the Musikfest Café at SteelStacks.
Named for late Bethlehem philanthropist Marlene “Linny” Fowler, the awards recognize those who have made significant contributions to the arts in the Lehigh Valley. This year’s ceremony also introduced a new Culinary Artist of the Year category.
Honorees included: Ashley Russo (Lifetime Achievement); Michael and Michele Pessina (Philanthropy in the Arts); C.F. Martin & Co. (Business Supporter of the Arts); Chef Will Rufe (Culinary Artist of the Year); Katie Hovencamp (Visual Artist of the Year); Tiffany Anderson (Arts Educator of the Year); Vernon Mobley (Performing Artist of the Year); Raeya Bell (Student Artist Scholarship); and Ronda Senior (Volunteer of the Year).
“This year’s Linny Awards was especially significant as we celebrated a decade of recognizing the remarkable individuals and organizations who make the Lehigh Valley such a vibrant place to live, work and create,” said ArtsQuest President and CEO Kassie Hilgert.
ArtsQuest said the awards continue Fowler’s legacy of supporting artists, educators, volunteers and community leaders who strengthen the region’s cultural community.
