The Bethlehem Housing Authority held its annual family field day Aug. 15 with hundreds of area residents attending and enjoying all the activities offered. “We had a lot more vendors and it was our best ever,” says Bethlehem Housing Authority executive director John Ritter.
The community event was held on housing authority property behind the Northeast Community Center and featured activities for kids, music, food, drink and a raffle.
The Hispanic Center, Bethlehem Area School District superintendent Dr. Renato Lajara, Bethlehem Area Public Library, city health bureau, Community Action Committee of the Lehigh Valley, NECC, Bethlehem Fire and Police Departments, Peaceable Kingdom Petting Zoo, face painting by Kim Einsla, rock climbing provided by All About Fun, a D.J., hot dogs, cotton candy, beverages, ice cream, and more gave the afternoon a carnival like atmosphere.
