In commemoration of the 25th anniversary of 9/11, Christ Lutheran Church in Hellertown presented an evening with Lyndon Harris, an Episcopal priest at St. Paul’s Chapel near Ground Zero on Sept. 11, 2001.

In the aftermath of the terrorist attack, he led an effort to provide meals, respite and support for firefighters and other first responders that eventually lasted for eight and a half months and involved 15,000 individuals.

Lyndon’s presentation was entitled “The Future of Our Past: A Conversation about Tragedy and Community Healing for the 25th Anniversary of 9/11.” After the presentation, he took questions from the audience about his own personal journey after 9/11 and signed copied of his memoir.
