Student attendance each day is critical for student success in Whitehall-Coplay School District. Students are expected to be present every day unless they are sick. Students are permitted only 10 excused absences per school year. Any further absence requires a doctor’s note.
In addition, any parent excuse notes must be submitted through PowerSchool Safe Arrival. Parent notes will not be accepted by email.

Join the Whitehall-Coplay PTO PLUS! Volunteers are always looking for more awesome helpers to support schools, and there are plenty of ways for you to get involved. Whether you can lend a hand at events or whip up some delicious baked treats, every bit helps and is appreciated.
If you plan to volunteer on school grounds, the WCSD requires your volunteer clearances on file. Clearances are free to all volunteers. Detailed information about the required clearances can be found on the school district’s human resources page at whitehallcoplay.org/for-families/volunteer-information/clearance-instruction.
If you need assistance completing your clearances or want to confirm your clearances are already on file, contact Donna Reckling, secretary to the personnel department, at recklingd@whitehallcoplay.org or 610-439-1431, ext. 1023.
