Historic Bethlehem Museums & Sites will debut the Bethlehem Vintage & Harvest Market on Saturday, Sept. 19, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Burnside Plantation, 1461 Schoenersville Road. Tickets are available at HistoricBethlehem.org.

The new event, which grew out of Apple Days, will feature more than 75 vendors from across the Mid-Atlantic offering vintage clothing, vinyl records, antiques, collectibles, mid-century furniture, jewelry and handmade items.

“With its focus on vintage finds and collectibles, paired with some of the most popular elements of Apple Days, the Vintage & Harvest Market feels like the natural next chapter for Burnside,” said Event Manager Beth Beatty.

HBMS is partnering with Bethlehem Vintage Market to present the event.

“Our mission is to build community and promote sustainability one vintage treasure at a time,” said Bethlehem Vintage Market co-founder Sophie Nicholas. “We’re bringing the community together in a fun, sustainable way.”

Visitors can also enjoy living history demonstrations, tours of Burnside’s historic buildings and gardens, and family activities such as 18th-century games, open-hearth cooking, quill writing, blacksmithing, candle dipping, cornhusk doll making, birdhouse decorating and an Artifact Challenge.

The market will offer more than a dozen autumn-inspired desserts, including apple and pumpkin pie, cider doughnuts, cranberry orange scones, pumpkin spice ice cream and molasses sugar cookies. Desserts may be purchased during the event or preordered for pickup at Market to Go on Friday, Sept. 18, from 4 to 7 p.m.

Food trucks will serve options ranging from Mexican cuisine to mango sticky rice, while Taste Budz will offer seasonal apple and pumpkin items.

Guests ages 21 and older can visit the Apple Barrel Tavern for local craft brews, ciders and cocktails from Christmas City Spirits.
