Liberty’s girls tennis team wrapped up its inaugural week of play with a 6-0 victory over Pleasant Valley on Aug. 28.

At No. 1 singles, Corrine Mumma defeated Avery Cygan, 6-0, 6-1.

At No. 2 singles, Sarah Wang defeated Amanda Davis, 6-3, 6-2, and at No. 3 singles, Polina Dorman defeated Averie Acevedo, 6-1, 6-1.

The No. 2 doubles pair of Naomi Domina and Kaylin Zhang won their match against Alayna Boland and Marissa Hauck, 6-2, 6-0.

Stella Georgalas and Diya Rena won at No. 3 doubles against Emma Kish and Brooke Serfass, 6-7, 6-1, 10-3, and Ainsley Kutz and Addison Poindexter defeated Eloise Rice and Khloe Dooner at No. 4 doubles, 6-4, 6-3.

Two days earlier, Liberty lost to Stroudsburg, 4-2.

Rana and Georgalas won their match at No. 3 doubles, and Poindexter and Kutz were winners at No. 4 doubles.
