The boys soccer team opened its season with a win over nonleague opponent Catasauqua.

The Zephs recorded a 5-0 shutout over the Rough Riders as William Quiros Figueroa scored twice.

Jibril Settles, Jeancarlos Morejon and Elliott Kromer also scored in the win.

The Whitehall girls soccer team opened their season with a 2-1 loss to Palmerton.

The girls led 1-0 at halftime but the Bombers got goals Aubrey Frable and Molly Berger to win the game. Bomber keeper Taylor Wasilewski made 18 saves in the win.

The field hockey team dropped it’s first two games of the season.

The girls lost to Parkland 8-0 on Monday.

Ellie Ray led the way with two goals for the Trojans as seven different players scored goals in the win.

On Saturday, the girls fell to Hazleton 9-2.

Hazleton scored the first five goals of the game, three of which came from Jacelyn Pena.

Bella Boyle would score three of Hazleton’s final four goals.

The Zephs had goals from Kerigan Dreisbach and Evelyn Hudak.

The golf team defeated Pocono Mountain West 447-503.

The Zephs were led by Nik Christman who shot an 83. Logan Shean carded an 84 to help lead the way.

Carson Strauss had a 91, Kane Braun shot 92 and Owen Miley had a 97.

PMW was led by Braylon Williams who shot a 95.

The team dropped a tri-meet to Bethlehem Catholic and Easton with the Hawks taking two wins.

Whitehall shot 449 and was led by Shean’s 84. Christman had an 86 at Twin Lakes.

Becahi was led by Ralston Rowlands’ 77. Zach Ostrosky shot 79. The Hawks shot a 408.

Easton shot 425 as a team and were led by Max Suffness’ 82.

The Zephs also lost a meet to Emmaus along with Easton and Becahi. The Hornets shot 372 at Twin Lakes, led by Evan Walters’ round of 69.

Whitehall was led by Shean’s 84. Christman shot 86.
