Student attendance each day is critical for student success in Whitehall-Coplay School District. Students are expected to be present every day unless they are sick. Students are permitted only 10 excused absences per school year. Any further absence requires a doctor’s note.
In addition, any parent excuse notes must be submitted through PowerSchool Safe Arrival. Parent notes will not be accepted by email.

Please be sure to update your parent contact information in PowerSchool. This information is critical for communication between you and your child’s teachers. Use the link to PowerSchool or download the PowerSchool Mobile (My Power Hub) app on your smartphone to access all parts of the PowerSchool suite.
WCSD requests the most accurate and up-to-date information for your child.
The annual returning student registration process is now open in PowerSchool. All parents/guardians are required to review and update their child’s information, including emergency contacts, medical forms and district policy agreements, at the start of the school year. Please complete this process using a web browser on a computer, tablet or phone rather than the PowerSchool mobile app. Visit whitehallcoplay.org and scroll down to select the PowerSchool parent portal icon, then select your student. If you have multiple children in the district, select the first student’s name tab in the top-left corner. You will need to repeat this process for each child. Next, locate the forms on the left-hand navigation menu, scroll down and click on Returning Student Update Form 2026-2027, then Review and Update, where you can verify your address, phone numbers, emergency contacts and health information. Confirm your digital signature and click submit.
