Lehigh-Bethlehem’s state run ended on July 30 with a 9-3 loss to Northampton in the Pennsylvania Connie Mack playoffs at Limeport Stadium, Coopersburg.

The game was delayed more than one hour and ended past 11 p.m. after the previous contest dealt with a rain delay.

Northampton led, 4-0, in the bottom of the second inning on two doubles, two walks, and a hit by pitch.

Lehigh-Bethlehem brought the score within one run in the top of the fourth inning.

Xavier Ryan singled, and Cole Collins, Ezerett Frack, Lucas Paulino, and Jacob Ondria walked.

A passed ball made the score, 4-3.

Northampton responded in the next inning with two more runs in addition to three runs in the sixth.

Lehigh-Bethlehem finished state playoffs with a record of 3-2, defeating Harleysville, Cheltenham, and Forks Township.

Lehigh-Bethlehem’s first loss came against Plymouth Whitemarsh, 4-3.

Lehigh-Bethlehem ended its season with an overall record of 17-6.
