Queenship of Mary Church, 1324 Newport Ave., will be having a garage sale 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Aug. 1 in the church social hall. Entrance to the hall is from the back of the church off Stewart Street.

The Friends of the Northampton Area Public Library is running two fundraisers for the library’s benefit.

They are currently taking orders for hoagies from Thompson’s in Walnutport at the main desk in the library until Aug. 5. Delivery will be Aug. 13.

Also available are the Friends Helping Friends coupons from Boscov’s for Oct. 21. This is a great way to shop for the holidays at a discount while donating to the cause. Stop by to support your local library!
