An alarm brought police to a residence in the 200 block of South Fourth Street.

Traffic stops were performed at Hokendauqua and South Second streets.

JULY 1

A motor vehicle accident involving two vehicles in a parking lot brought police to the 200 block of Chestnut Street.

Officers responded to an alarm in the unit block of North Third Street.

Traffic stops were conducted along Chestnut Street.

JULY 2

Citations were issued to three people for criminal trespassing and disorderly conduct after an incident that occurred June 23 in the unit block of North Second Street.

A parking complaint in the 100 block of Chestnut Street was investigated.

Traffic stops were conducted in the 900 block of Chestnut Street and at Hokendauqua and South Second streets.

JULY 3

An unattended juvenile in the area of North Fifth Street was reunited with a family member, and police followed up with a welfare check.

Traffic stops were conducted at Chestnut and North Ruch streets and in the 900 block of Chestnut Street.

JULY 4

An unwanted person in the 200 block of Chestnut Street was reported.

Police responded to a noise complaint at Coplay Street and Strawberry Alley.

A hit and run resulting in damage to a vehicle brought police to the 200 block of Chestnut Street.

Traffic stops were conducted on Chestnut and South Second streets.

JULY 5

Officers investigated a reported neighbor dispute in the 1000 block of Poplar Street.

Police responded to a report of people threatening others and throwing rocks at people by the Lehigh River.

Traffic enforcement was conducted on South Second Street.

A disturbance on North Second Street was reported.

Traffic stops were performed on Chestnut Street and at Hokendauqua and South Second streets.

Police conducted traffic stops in the 900 block of Chestnut Street and at North Front and Chestnut streets.

Officers rescued a kitten trapped in a tree in the unit block of North Fifth Street.

Traffic stops were conducted on Chestnut Street.

Police issued parking citations for ordinance violations while investigating reports of abandoned vehicles on public streets.

An alarm in the 800 block of Catherine Drive was investigated.

The department assisted an outside agency with a search on the Ironton Rail Trail for an individual with an outstanding warrant.

Skye Appleton, 34, was arrested and charged with simple assault when police responded to a domestic incident in the 100 block of North Ninth Street.

An individual was cited for disorderly conduct after police responded to a reported disturbance in the unit block of North Second Street.

Suspicious activity involving an unoccupied vehicle with an open door in a residential driveway in the 100 block of South Seventh Street had police on the scene.

Traffic stops were conducted at North Front and Chestnut streets.

JULY 12

Officers investigated a report of an abandoned vehicle on Keefer Street.

Multiple traffic stops were conducted on South Second Street.
