New Jersey man fatally injured in one-vehicle crash in Upper Milford Township

A New Jersey man was fatally injured when the commercial box truck he was driving overturned in a crash along Chestnut Street in Upper Milford Township July 16, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Clarence E. Reynolds, 42, of Camden, N.J., was the driver of the vehicle, according to authorities.

Reynolds was traveling northbound in the 4500 block of Chestnut Street, north of the intersection with Beck Road, when his vehicle traveled off the right shoulder of the northbound lane and struck a pole and a tree. The vehicle then overturned onto the driver side in the northbound lane.

Reynolds was pronounced dead at the scene 1:04 p.m., according to a press release from the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office and Forensics Center dated July 17.

Investigators determined the cause of death to be multiple blunt force trauma.

The manner of death was determined to be an accident, according to authorities.
