A Kutztown motorcyclist was fatally injured when his motorcycle crashed along Pennsylvania/U.S. Route 222 near Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, July 14.

According to a press release from the Lehigh County Coroner’s office, Deivid J. Infante, 32, was pronounced dead at the crash scene along Route 222 northbound 8:55 p.m.

A press release from Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville described the crash as follows:

The motorcycle was traveling in a left lane of the highway, which is four-lanes in the area of the crash.

The driver was maneuvering a left hand curve when the motorcycle went off the right shoulder and crashed into a concrete wall along the right shoulder of the road.

The cause of death was determined to be multiple blunt force injuries, according to the coroner’s office.

The manner of death has been ruled an accident.

The crash was approximately one-half mile north of Mill Creek Road, according to authorities.
