Chicken BBQ July 18
Volunteers at Northern Valley EMS, NOVA, will be hosting a chicken barbecue fundraiser noon – 5 p.m., July 18.
The meal will include 1/2 a chicken, baked potato, pickled cabbage, corn-on-the-cob, roll, and dessert. It is take-out only.

Union United Church of Christ, Neffs, will have worship in the grove at 10:30 a.m. July 12.
This will be an opportunity for people to bring their pets to be blessed.
On July 12, Union U.C.C. will have faith, food, music, and activities for children in the grove.
The Iron Skillet food truck and Drizzle ice cream will be on the scene 4:30 p.m.-8 p.m. Hot dogs may be purchased, and there will be free popcorn.
Steel Creek will provide entertainment from 5:30 p.m. – 8 p.m.
St. John’s United Church of Christ, 1415 Rising Sun Road, Laurys Station, has changed to summer worship time at 9 a.m. through Aug. 30.
The church newsletter includes thoughts on “The Quiet Power of Faithfulness” by an anonymous writer.
