Joseph J. Villani, Sr., 87, of Bethlehem Township, died June 17, 2026 at St. Luke’s Hospice.
He was born in Fountain Hill to Antonio M. and Anna A. (Falco) Villani and was the husband of Eileen (Marsh). Villani for 31 years.
He served in the United States Army at Fort Carson, Colorado.
He was passionate about cars and founded JJ Villani Auto Sales in Freemansburg, which he owned and operated for many years.
Kind, generous, sensitive, and compassionate, he will be remembered for his love of animals and good jokes. A proud Italian American, Joseph cherished his heritage and the traditions and values that shaped his life.
He was predeceased by his son, Mark Villani; his brothers, Vito and Richard Villani; and his sisters, Antoinette “Dolly” DeFrancisco and Theresa Ruhf.
In addition to his wife, Eileen, he is survived by his children: Lisa Villani of Bethlehem; Joseph Villani Jr. (SiewSim), of York; Mario Villani (Preyia), of Bethlehem; Kathryn Ginter (Daniel), of Breinigsville; and Eric Kilichowski of Bethlehem; brother, Dominic Villani (Nancy); 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and his former wife, Joan (Benny) Villani.
