Churches offering events for families
Christ’s Church at Lowhill, 4695 Lowhill Church Road, New Tripoli, will be holding a fundraiser with Vince’s Famous Cheesesteaks Food Truck noon to 6 p.m. June 10.
Vince’s will donate $1 for every sandwich sold right back to the church.
Lowhill Church will also be selling homemade baked goods.
Indoor and outdoor dining facilities will be available.

The church will hold its Armor of God Vacation Bible School 6-8 p.m. July 20-24.
All ages are welcome.

Ziegels Church, 9990 Ziegels Church Road, Breinigsville, will be holding Family Game Nights 6-8:30 p.m. June 17 in the Fellowship Hall.
Bring along your favorite board game or card game to play and join them for some fun with friends and family.
Light refreshments will be served.
Ziegels’ Rain Forest Falls Vacation Bible School for youth in kindergarten to sixth grade will take place 6-8:30 p.m. June 22-26.
Through fun music, crafts, games, stories and snacks, they will explore what it means to be rooted in a relationship with God, our creator, and how He is our safe place during life’s storms.
Parents can register their children by filling out a form at Ziegels church during office hours, Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to noon.

The Tractor and Car show, a free community event, will take place noon to 6 p.m. July 11. Entertainment will be by The Hannah Violet Trio and The Majestics.
There will be food, games, raffles, bake sale, tractor pulls and fun for all ages.

Morgenland Church, 3120 Weidasville Road, Orefield, will host its annual summer picnic 4-8 p.m. June 27.
There will live music 5-8 p.m. by “Waitin’ on Sundown,” a basket raffle, a 50/50 drawing, cake walk and bake sale.
Rain date is 2 to 6 p.m. June 28 with the band “Waitin’ on Sundown” playing 3-6 p.m.
