Congratulations to the Catasauqua Middle School Roughies of the Month for May — Abigail Gruver, fifth grade; Ryder Deering, sixth grade; Fabiana Rengifo Ampuero, seventh grade; Mallory Deering, eighth grade; and Anna Magoum, related arts.

The students will be recognized at the board meeting June 9.

Field trips are continuing. Sixth grade will go to SkyZone May 28, seventh grade is visiting Urban Air May 29, and eighth-grade students will go to Hampton Lanes June 2.

Student iPad returns are set for June 1 for eighth grade, June 3 for sixth and seventh grades and June 4 for fifth grade.

There will be early dismissals for the end of the year. CMS students will be dismissed 11 a.m. June 5-10. No lunches will be served.

The eighth-grade promotion ceremony will be held 8:30-11:30 a.m. June 10.

The event is limited to parents/guardians due to limited seating.
