The annual Wynnewood Estates garage and yard sale will take place 7 a.m.-3 p.m. May 23 at the corner of Atlas Lane and 600 Buckingham Drive in Northampton. There will be at least 50 participants.

Northampton Borough offices will be closed May 25 for Memorial Day.

Northampton Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4714 will conduct memorial tributes at the gravesites of fallen comrades around the borough Memorial Day, May 25.

The VFW will be at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary cemetery 8:30 a.m.; St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic cemetery 9 a.m.; Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Orthodox cemetery starting 9:30 a.m.; and Our Lady of Hungary cemetery 10 a.m. At each cemetery, they will perform a brief ceremony that will consist of the national anthem, a prayer, a song, roll call, a rifle salute and echo taps.

In addition, Northampton Joint Veterans, consisting of American Legion Post 353, Catholic War Veterans Post 454 and VFW Post 4714, will conduct a memorial tribute for all fallen comrades starting 11 a.m. at the veterans plaza, 14th Street and Dewey and Washington avenues.

Holy Trinity Nursery School, 1235 Main St., is registering for the 2026-27 school year.

The 2-year-old playgroup class will meet 9:30-11 a.m. Mondays and Wednesdays. The class size is limited to 12 children, and children do not need to be toilet trained for this class.

The 3-year-old class meets 9-11:30 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays. The class size is limited to 16 children, and children need to be toilet trained for this class.

The 4-year-old class meets 12:15-2:45 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. The class size is limited to 16 children, and children need to be toilet trained for this class.

Children must turn the appropriate age for the class by Sept. 1.
