District News: Swim evaluation scheduled for May 11
There will be a new swimmer evaluation for the competitive summer swim team, for ages 5 to 18, 5:30-7:30 p.m. May 11 at the high school pool. There will be eight dual meets May 26-July 18.
There is a fee, but it is discounted if enrolling more than one child. A pool pass must be purchased.

The high school Keystone exams will be taking place May 12-14. All students who are not taking the Keystones will have asynchronous assignments during those three days.
Testing locations will be posted around the school during test week.
If you have questions, stop by the main office or see your counselor.

Important dates for seniors include field day May 22, final full days May 26 and 27, athletic signing day May 28, breakfast and parade May 29, sunset viewing May 31 and graduation June 1.

WHS’ Class of 2028 will have a dine-and-donate fundraiser 4-9 p.m. May 27 at Union and Finch in Allentown.

The fourth marking period will end June 10, the final day of school.

Become part of Whitehall-Coplay PTO PLUS! You can lend a hand at events or whip up some delicious baked treats for events. All volunteers on school grounds must have clearances and a TB test at this time. Clearances and the TB test are free for volunteers.

The 2026 Let’s Build Construction Camp for Girls is scheduled for June 22-26 at the Lackawanna College Bethlehem campus, 3184 Airport Road, for girls interested in exploring careers in architecture, engineering and construction. The camp is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year.
At the camp, girls will learn basic design and drafting, basic engineering and hands-on learning of the construction trades, carpentry, electrical, flooring, HVAC, masonry, painting, plumbing, roofing, siding, window installation and more. Campers will build confidence and self-esteem, feel empowered and learn leadership and teamwork skills. Explore the latest technology used in architecture, engineering and construction, along with learning about career opportunities and be mentored by powerful industry professionals.
Students will also go on field trips such as an architecture firm, engineering firm and building product manufacturing facilities.
