Governor Wolf Historical Society, 6600 Jacksonville Road, East Allen Township, will hold its annual meeting and dinner 6-8:30 p.m. May 1. Scott Paul Gordon will speak on the role of the Moravians in the Revolution.

Gordon is the Andrew W. Mellon chair at Lehigh. He teaches courses at the undergraduate and graduate level in early America and 18th-century transatlantic literature.

Lappawinzo Fish and Game Association, 25 Lappawinzo Road, Allen Township, will be holding a fishing contest May 2 and 3.

Registration will start 8 a.m. The youth contest is 9 a.m.-1 p.m., and the adult contest will be held 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
