Dean Dengler

Parkland Class of 1984

Dean Dengler, 59, passed away naturally, suddenly on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, in Rockaway, New Jersey.

Born in Allentown on May 11, 1966, Dean was the son of his loving Mom, Diane M. (Rauch) Pesola (husband, Anthony) of Allentown and Father, Donald H. Dengler (wife, Robin) of Slatington.

Dean was also a great and protective big brother to his sister, Dawn Dengler, of Allentown.

After earning his bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering at Drexel University, he went on to work as a computer programmer for many years.

Dean was a kind and intelligent person.

He overcame adversity and built for himself a successful career.

Having lived and worked an increasing distance from home over the years, we did not see him in person as often as we would have preferred and believe that he lost touch with many of his friends from this ar

But Dean’s Mom and sister cherish the many hours that we spent talking with him on the phone over the years and the memories that we have of happier times with Dean.

Thank you to the local friends of his who have already reached out to express their fondness for Dean and who have shared with us some of their own happy memories of him.

Your kindness and our own friends’ support is truly helping us to endure this otherwise unfathomable pain.

To Dean’s friends in other places where he lived, we express our deepest condolences.

Dean is profoundly missed and will always be deeply loved. God, we pray, rest his soul together with Pappy and Nana Rauch and Pappy and Betty Dengler.

We miss and love all of you more than we know how to say and hope that one day, God willing, we will all be together again in Heaven, happy, well and free, forevermore. Amen
