An 84-year-old Breinigsville man operating a bicycle was severely injured when he collided with a Toyota sedan driven by a 20-year-old Breinigsville woman around 12:14 p.m. July 24 on Swallow Tail Lane, Upper Macungie Township. According to Upper Macungie Township police, the male bicyclist was wearing a helmet at time of crash.

He was transported to Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township, for further treatment.

The Breinigsville woman who was wearing her seat belt at time of crash, was not injured, police say.
