Congressman Mike Johnson, of Louisiana, speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives joined state Rep. Ryan Mackenzie, R-187th, during a May 21 visit to the Cetronia Ambulance Corps headquarters, South Whitehall, during National EMS Week.
Cetronia Ambulance Corps CEO Bob Mateff Sr. invited Johnson and Mackenzie to join him inside an Advanced Life Support Ambulance to view the high-tech monitors and communication devices necessary to help preserve human life, whether from a traumatic incident, cardiac event or a stroke.
Following their visit with the ambulance corps personnel, both Johnson and Mackenzie held an impromptu news conference discussing various political issues.
