Gloria May Heintzelman, 93, of Bear, Del., formerly of New Tripoli, died April 29, 2024, in Delaware Hospice Inc., Wilmington, Del.

She was the wife of the late Lee W. Heintzelman.

Born April 27, 1931, in North Whitehall Township, she was the daughter of the late William G. and Florence M. (Kunkle) Rauch.

A graduate of the former Slatington High School and Cedar Crest College, class of 1953, she was an elementary school teacher at various schools in the Lehigh Valley during the 1950s and 1960s.

Her survivors include children Susan B. Lynn (Raymond) of Bethlehem, Michael J. Heintzelman (Carmen) of Georgia, and Julie K. Servia (James) of Delaware; sister Susan J. Rauch of Barr, France; and eight grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her sister Joan M. Wentz.

A private graveside service will take place at Union Church Cemetery, Neffs.

There will be no public calling hours.
