Track has success at Pirate Invitational

Northampton’s track and field athletes earned multiple top finishes at the Pirate Invitational on April 12 at Palisades High School.

Andrew Whitman won the 400 meter dash with a time of 52.37, took fourth place in the 100 meter dash with a time of 11.86, and placed fourth in the 200 meter dash in 23.75.

Brady Dolak took top honors in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:08.14, and Elijah Mashraky came in third in 2:14.64.

Edwin Wright was fifth in the 3200 meter run with a time of 11:21.16.

In the 110 meter hurdles, Deric Fritzges placed fourth in 17.18 and third in the 300 meter hurdles in 42.41.

Northampton’s boys won the 4x800 relay with a time of 8:52.02.

Andrew Szeplaki won the high jump with a jump of 5-11.00.

Tristen Pinnock came in second in the long jump with a distance of 19-10.50 and fourth in the triple jump with a distance of 42-04.00.

Szeplaki also won in pole vault with a jump of 12-00.00. Samuel Hayes took third place with a jump of 11-06.00, and Alex Szeplaki was fourth with 11-00.00.

Elias Spencer came in fifth in discus with a throw of 102-05.00.

Brandon Downey was fourth in javelin, recording a distance of 115-01.00.

In shot put, Samuel Duerr took third with a throw of 40-08.50, and Robert Bo placed fifth with a 37-09.00.

Anne Beenders came in fourth in the 100 meter dash with a time of 14.01.

Brooke Saul placed second in the 400 meter dash in 1:04.46, and Peighton Evangelista was fifth in 1:07.17.

Lindsay Reimer placed third in the 800 meter run in 2:39.23, Juliana Medei was third in the 1600 meter run in 6:25.88, and Lilly Konya was fifth in 6::36.18.

In the 3200 meter run, Hayden Nagy came in third in 14:19.08, and Aurora Greene was fourth in 14:58.00.

Brianna Caulwell won the 100 meter hurdles in 17.05, and Brianna Phillips was second in 17.94.

Phillips was second in the 300 meter hurdles in 51.40, and Caulwell was third in 54.11.

Beenders won the high jump with a jump of 4-11.00, Phillips was third with a jump of 4-07.00, and Caohlme Stires was fifth with a 4-05.00.

Phillips took second in long jump with a 16-00.00, and Beenders was third with a jump of 15-11.50.

Beenders won the triple jump with a distance of 36-02.00, and Chloe Watson was fifth with a 30-09.00.

Olivia Hayes was the pole vault winner with a jump of 8-00.00, and Stires came in second with a jump of 7-06.00.

Alexa Wiland took second place in javelin with a throw of 94-08.50, and Wiland came in fourth in shot put with a throw of 27-07.00.
