Jeanne Marie “Bean Pole” Weinsteiger, 71, of Zionsville, died peacefully at home Jan. 19, 2024. She was the loving wife of Terry R. Weinsteiger with whom she shared 38 years of marriage. Born in Easton, she was a daughter of the late Donald L. and Mary L. (Blackton) Hocking.

In prior years, she enjoyed playing the piano, ballroom dancing, swimming, skiing, basket weaving, ceramics and collecting spackleware. She loved listening to the Beatles, Beach Boys and contemporary Christian music. She loved family trips to the beach. She will be missed by her family very much.

She is survived by her husband; daughter, Jennifer Pysher; grandchildren, Cameron, Autumn, Briar; siblings, Donna Wilhelm, Eileen Snyder, Kevin Hocking, Kathy Roscoli.

A memorial service will be held noon Jan. 25 in the Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus. Visitation will be held 11 a.m. to noon. A livestream of the service will be available through https://www.facebook.com/p/Schantz-Funeral-Home-PC-100057699121211/.
