Allen/East Allen townships: Good Shepherd plans movie night

Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 1335 Old Carriage Road, Kreidersville, is planning a family movie night for 7 p.m. April 1.

Bring your sleeping bag or camp chair and enjoy s’mores and hot dogs while watching “Family Camp.”

Wildlands Conservancy is hosting a wellness walk 10 a.m.-noon April 1 at Louise Moore Park, 151 Country Club Road, Easton.

This hike is appropriate for all ages. There is no charge, and participants are encouraged to dress in layers.

Zion’s Stone United Church of Christ, 51 Church Road, Kreidersville, is holding a meat and seafood raffle to benefit the bell tower repair fund. The drawing will be held live on Facebook 6 p.m. April 5.

There are 20 meat and seafood prizes. All prizes must be picked up at Thomson’s Meat Market, 430 Washington St., Walnutport.

Good Shepherd will hold an Easter egg hunt 11 a.m. April 8.

Children up to sixth grade are welcome. The event will be held rain or shine.

Lappawinzo Fish and Game Association, 25 Lappawinzo Road, Allen Township, has set its next monthly breakfast for 8-11 a.m. April 16. It is open to the public.

There is a cost.

Wildlands Conservancy is holding its PreK Pathfinders: Happy Campers program 10-11 a.m. April 27 at Wayne Grube Park, 1200 Willowbrook Road, East Allen Township.

This base camp experience with stories and live animals is for children ages 3-5 and their adults.

There is no fee, but space is limited, so please register. Visit wildlandspa.org/event/prek-pathfinders-happy-campers-wayne-grube-park.

Early registration for Wildlands Conservancy 2023 summer camp has begun.

Early bird registrants save 10% on summer camp registration. The early bird discount code can be found on the website, wildlandspa.org/camp.

This summer, Wildlands is offering 11 weeks of enriching, nature-based fun at Dorothy Rider Pool Wildlife Sanctuary in Emmaus; Community Park near Bethlehem; Hopewell Park in Center Valley; Lone Lane Park in Allentown; and Ontelaunee Park in New Tripoli.

Camps begin June 12 and are offered at several levels, including You & Me for 3- to 5-year-olds and their adults; pre-K aged; and for students who have completed grades K-2, grades 3-5 and sixth grade and older.

Early bird registration ends May 1.

East Allen Township Volunteer Ambulance Corps’ spring festival is scheduled for May 20 at Bicentennial Park East, 5450 Liberto Lane. The festival is a fun event showcasing local breweries, distilleries, food trucks, wineries and local businesses.

The purpose of the festival is to enjoy an afternoon in the community park and raise money for the ambulance corps.

Previous reports that the event was canceled were incorrect.
