Moore Township: Christ UCC, Little Moore, schedules March 24, April 1 events

Christ United Church of Christ, Little Moore, 913 S. Mink Road, is holding a cash bingo March 24. Doors open 5:30 p.m., and bingo starts 7 p.m.

There are limited tickets available. Special games and basket raffle tickets are extra.

Christ UCC, Little Moore, will also hold its spring bazaar 9 a.m.-noon April 1.

Free goody bags are available for the first 20 adults and five children.

The event will include homemade Easter candy, baked goods, handmade crafts, garden plants and more.

The kitchen will be open.

First Regional Composting Authority, 6701 Weaversville Road, Northampton, is holding a Mulch Madness event 8 a.m.-4 p.m. March 24 and again 8 a.m.-1 p.m. March 25. Moore Township is a member of FRCA.

Moore Township Lioness-Lions Club is hosting a penny party at Klecknersville Rangers Fire Company. 2718 Mountain View Drive. Doors open 11:30 a.m.; the game begins 1 p.m.

There will be an Easter dinner basket raffle and door prizes.

Bring your own pennies or purchase them at the event. All ages are welcome.

Moore Township Board of Supervisors has three members elected by the voters. Supervisors next meet 6 p.m. April 4 in the municipal building, 2491 Community Drive.

Emmanuel’s Lutheran Church, 3175 Valley View Drive, will be holding an Easter breakfast 7:15-9:30 a.m. April 9. It is open to all.

A goodwill offering is requested. Proceeds go to benefit the earthquake victims of Turkey and Syria.

The land and environmental protection board meets 7 p.m. the second Monday of the month. The next meeting will be April 10 in the municipal building.

The recreation committee of Moore Township meets the third Thursday of the month. The next meeting is set for 7 p.m. April 20 at the municipal building.

Moore Township Community Days is planning a purse bingo April 23. More information will be available on the township website, mooretownship.org.

Emmanuel’s Lutheran Church’s pastor, Rachel Ziese Hacker, welcomes all to the church.

She suggests if you cannot attend a Sunday or other service, you can call 610-477-0100 to listen to any of its services. You must call in during the service time to listen to a current service.

Emmanuel’s church is planning its 300th anniversary. Mark your calendar for June 25 for a special workshop.

The church was founded in 1723.
