Union United Church of Christ welcomes new pastor of visitation

Carrie Beleno has been approved as pastor of visitation at Union United Church of Christ, Neffs.

She has experience as an elementary school teacher, principal, Reiki master (energy healing), and spiritual life coach.

Beleno earned a Master of Education degree in educational development and strategies.

Currently a chaplain for St. Luke’s University Hospital Network, she just completed several years working as a Reiki/meditation teacher at the Cancer Support Community, and she directs plays at the Pennsylvania Playhouse.

Her responsibilities at Union UCC include visiting members and sharing hospital visits with Pastor Kris Snyder and Pastor Kayli Freeman.

Beleno will work with the Helping Hearts group, the communion ministers, the Golden Times senior activities, and other current adult offerings.

The church is planning on creating new ministry programs and opportunities for adults.

Beleno resides in Washington Township with her husband, Tony, and three rescue cats.

The couple has an adult son and daughter, and two grandsons who occupy her spare time.
