CMS students are holding a Socks for Soldiers drive.

One of the most requested items from soldiers and the homeless are socks, so CMS is collecting new, warm pairs of socks, which will be donated to local homeless shelters, veterans associations and the Catasauqua Community Cares Program.

They are also collecting toiletry items, such as toothpaste and toothbrushes, dental floss, soap, body wash, deodorant, tissues, etc.

Donations will be accepted in homerooms until Christmas.

CMS is in need of daily substitute teachers to provide instruction in the absence of a regular teacher, implement lesson plans and perform other related duties as assigned by the building administrator.

The daily substitute reports directly to the building principal.

The daily workday consists of seven hours of paid work time and 30 minutes of unpaid/unassigned lunch.

Send your letter of interest, Pennsylvania standard teaching application and clearances to humanresources@cattysd.org.
