Salisbury Falcon Twirlers to host purse bingo Nov. 13

Salisbury Falcon Twirlers are hosting a Designer Purse and Thirty-one Bag Bingo Nov. 13 at Salisbury Middle School. Plan now to see the Salisbury High School Theatre production of “Radium Girls.” This show will be presented 7 p.m. Nov. 10, 11 and 12 and 2 p.m. Nov. 13. Tickets can be purchased in advance or at the door. See you there!

Jerusalem Lutheran Church of Eastern Salisbury will hold a chance basket raffle noon to 6 p.m. Nov. 11 and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 12. You do not need to be present to win. For questions or to purchase tickets, contact Louise at 610-866-1611. Tickets are available now.

The Salisbury Athletic Booster Club is holding a clothing drive 9 a.m. to noon Nov. 12. Drop off will be the SHS Auxiliary gym entrance. For more information on accepted items, visit clothingdrive.net.

The monthly school board meeting will be held 7:30 p.m. Nov. 16 in the administration building.

Looking forward, Salisbury Elementary School will have early dismissals 1:15 p.m. for parent/teacher conferences beginning Nov. 17 through Nov. 23.

SMS will have early dismissals 12:15 p.m. for parent/teacher conferences beginning Nov. 21 through Nov. 23.

SHS will have an early dismissal 12:15 p.m. Nov. 23 as well.

All Salisbury Township schools will be closed Nov. 24-28 in observance of Thanksgiving. School will resume Nov. 29. Please plan accordingly for dismissal.

It’s that time again ... leaf collection in the township has begun. The public works department will have collection trucks on each side of the township. Please make sure to have your clean leaves collected loosely on the curbside for them. There cannot be any branches or yard waste combined with leaves. For updates regarding collection truck locations, refer to the township Facebook page or website.

The Devonshire drop-off location will be open for recycling drop off 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Nov. 10 and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 12.

The Franko Farm drop-off center will be open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Nov. 14 and 17 and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 19.
