Salisbury High School Theatre presents ‘Radium Girls’

The Salisbury Elementary School PTO is hosting a fall craft and vendor show 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 5 at Salisbury High School, 500 E. Montgomery St. Stop by to shop from a variety of vendors and crafters to get a start on holiday shopping and support the SES PTO at the same time.

Do you love the thee-a-tre? Then come to the SHS Theatre production of “Radium Girls” by D.W. Gregory, being presented 7 p.m. Nov. 10, 11 and 12 or 2 p.m. Nov. 13. Tickets can be purchased in advance or at the door.

The Salisbury Twirling team is holding a purse bingo fundraiser at Salisbury Middle School Nov. 13. The doors will open noon, with bingo starting 1 p.m. There will be 20 games with four specials, raffles and door prizes. Refreshments will be available to purchase. Price is discounted if purchased in advance. For tickets or more information, send an email to salisburytwirlingboosters@gmail.com.

Also on Nov. 13, the SHS basketball coaches and team will hold the Bruce Uhl basketball camp.

This an annual camp open to students in third through seventh grades. It will be held 1-4 p.m. Nov. 13 at SHS. To register or for more information, contact Kevin Foley at foleyk@cattysd.org.

The book fair at Salisbury Elementary School runs through Nov. 3. Any parent or guardian looking to shop may come in 3-6 p.m. Nov. 3.

The next T-shirt day at SES is Nov. 4. Thank you to the PTO for those great shirts.

Picture retake day for SES is Nov. 7. Don’t forget to return your packet of pictures if interested in getting new pictures.

All Salisbury schools will be closed Nov. 8 for a teacher in-service day.

Everyone at SES will be wearing purple Nov. 15 for Alzheimer’s Awareness Day. Any donations received will be sent to the Alzheimer’s Awareness Foundation.

The monthly school board meeting will be held 7:30 p.m. Nov. 16 at the administration building.

Leaf collection has started in the township. Place clean leaves loosely on the curbside. They may not have any other branches or yard waste mixed in and may not be in bags. Starting in November, the township website will post where in the township the crews will be working.

Salisbury Township yard waste drop off sites are open. Hours of operation are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays. Franko Farm will be open Nov. 3, 5 and 14. The Devonshire site will be open Nov. 7, 10 and 12.
