The Fab Faux, 7:30 p.m. June 17, State Theatre Center for the Arts, Easton. They look nothing like The Beatles. But if you close your eyes, you’d swear you were hearing John, Paul, George and Ringo. The Fab Faux performs Beatles’ hits and favorites. The Fab Faux has been hailed as the most musically satisfying Beatles tribute band on the scene today. Nick Lowe, 8 p.m. June 17, Musikfest Cafe, Bethlehem. Doors open at 7 p.m. The “Quality Rock & Roll Revue” stars Los Straitjackets. Also performing: Tommy McLain and CC Adcock. Lowe, producer, songwriter, musician, has a new four-song EP, “Tokyo Bay,” featuring Los Straitjackets as his backing band. Los Straitjackets are the leading practitioners of the rock guitar instrumental (think the Ventures, The Shadows, Link Wray and Dick Dale). Clad in their trademark Lucha Libre Mexican wrestling masks, the Jackets’ most recent album, “What’s So Funny ‘Bout Peace Love & Los Straitjackets,” is instrumental covers of Lowe’s songs.
