Some 175 vendors filled 635 tables with model train engines, passenger cars, freight cars, parts, track, transformers and all things related to model trains at the Allentown Train Meet Feb. 26 and 27 at the Agri~Plex complex, Allentown.
Drawing vendors and visitors from as far away as South Carolina, the train meet offered treasures for anyone interested in model railroading.
The Allentown meet is reportedly the third largest on the East Coast.
Model trains of all sizes, from Z to G gauge were on the tables waiting for just the right enthusiast to find his or her dream model train.
Many of the sales that occurred during the two-day event were between vendors as they tend to be the biggest collectors of rare and historical model trains.
