CONTRIBUTED PHOTOS The Bethlehem chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution held its annual Good Citizen Award ceremony April 7 in the DAR cabin on Eighth Avenue. Pictured are Pam Hahn, DAR event coordinator; Julia Konschnik, Freedom High School; Julia Minnich, Northampton Area High School; Ellen Rose Trunzo, Bethlehem Catholic High School; Andee Gluchowski, Liberty High School; Vincent Menichelli, Moravian Academy; and Jennifer Brasko, DAR chapter regent. Each student read his or her essay on patriotism and received a certificate and pin. The students also received a certificate from the offices of the Bethlehem mayor, Sen. Lisa Boscola, D-18th, and Rep. Steve Samuelson, D-135th.

“Congratulations, Good Citizens” is written on a cake for the winners and guests to enjoy.
