Catasauqua: Fire police plan flea market for Sept. 4 at training grounds

Catasauqua Fire Police will hold a flea market Sept. 4 at the fire training grounds on Race Street. Setup begins 6:30 a.m. for those with spaces, and the event goes until 2 p.m.

Food and drink will also be for sale.

Reminder: The borough’s free summer concert series will continue 7-10 p.m. Sept. 3 with the Toga Party Band at the amphitheater at Catasauqua Park and Playground, 501 American St. The concert is sponsored by Barry Isett & Associates.

Don’t forget to bring your lawn chairs and/or blankets.

Orders are due by Sept. 7 for the ongoing Catasauqua High School band and chorus hoagie and sandwich monthly fundraiser. Delivery is expected Sept. 14.

Catasauqua High School’s music arts department will hold a yard sale 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Sept. 18 on the Sheckler Elementary School parking lot on 14th Street.

Proceeds benefit the music arts students. If interested in renting a space, consisting of two parking spaces, contact catasauquamusicarts@gmail.com.
