Delicker runs for congress

Kevin Dellicker has announced his candidacy for the United States House of Representatives in Pennsylvania’s 7th Congressional District. He will compete in the Republican primary for the chance to challenge Democrat Susan Wild in the

2022 general election.

Dellicker is a 35-year resident of Lehigh County who lives in Heidelberg Township with his wife Susan and their three sons. He’s a prolific community volunteer who coached 20 season of youth sports, serves on church council, and held numerous local leadership positions.

Since 2005, Mr. Dellicker has been the owner of Dellicker Strategies, a successful small business that he and Susan founded in the basement of their home. The company helps organizations upgrade their technology infrastructure and improve their cybersecurity.

Dellicker is a 26-year veteran of the United States Armed Forces. He deployed overseas four times in support of the Global War on Terrorism, including two tours each for Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring (Afghanistan) Freedom.

Rally held for Shields

Local Attorney Maraleen Shields was joined by State Representative Malcolm Kenyatta, along with local Democratic leadership in support of her historic candidacy for Common Pleas Judge in Lehigh County. Shields garnered the most Democratic votes in the May Primary and if successful in November, If elected, Shields would become the first African American Judge in Lehigh County history. She will also be only the second Spanish speaking udge on the bench.
