Historic Catasauqua Preservation Association is sponsoring a community yard sale 9 a.m.-2 p.m. May 1 at Catasauqua Park and Playground, 501 American St.

Setup starts 8 a.m., and you must bring your own table. There is a cost per spot, but it is free for nonprofits and service organizations.

HCPA welcomes donated items to be sold at its table.

Public Library of Catasauqua has new hours - 3-5 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays, 10 a.m.-noon Tuesdays and 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturdays.

Patrons may make a 20-minute appointment to browse the collections or use a computer.

Catty Seniors Plus meets 1 p.m. May 26 at the Slovak Center Social Club, 1233 Fifth St. Doors open noon.

Everyone must wear a mask, have their COVID-19 vaccination and maintain social distancing. There will be a luncheon and bingo.

Catasauqua Community Thrift Shop, 113 Bridge St., is open 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Mondays through Fridays.

Masks must be worn, and only five customers are allowed in at a time.
