DUI
A 20-year-old female, of Bethlehem, was charged March 2 with suspicion of driving under the influence and related offenses following a traffic stop in the upper Dodson Park ball field, according to Salisbury police. She was transported to the Lehigh County Central Booking Center.
Possession
Luis Brandon Marquez, 22, of Allentown, was charged March 4 with alleged possession of a controlled substance and traffic offenses following a traffic stop in the 1600 block of Broadway, according to Salisbury police. Marquez was transported to the Lehigh County Central Booking Center on an outstanding warrant.
Theft
A resident of the 2900 block of Edgemont Drive found $6,000 was removed from a firebox and an Ecobee thermostat, valued at $250 was taken, according to Salisbury police. The theft was reported March 6 and remains under investigation.
Theft from vehicle
Four tires, with a total value of $6,000, were removed from a vehicle at Scott Mazda, 3301 Lehigh St., according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported March 8 and remains under investigation.
Prescription medications and $50 cash were removed from a vehicle parked at 1250 S. Cedar Crest Blvd., according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported March 5 and remains under investigation.

A 33-year-old male, of Slatington, was charged March 2 with retail theft following an incident at the AT&T Store, 3384 Lehigh St., according to Salisbury police.
Criminal mischief
A garage balcony was damaged in the 1300 block of South 24th Street, according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported March 1.
Check fraud
Numerous checks were cashed against a bank account without authorization. The owner of the bank account is located in the 3300 block of Lehigh Street. The incident was reported March 1 and remains under investigation.
Fraud
Salisbury police officers are investigating an incident of fraud where gift cards were purchased and payment was not made. The incident occurred March 3 at the Saint Thomas More Church, 1040 Flexer Ave., according to police. The incident remains under investigation.
A resident of the 1600 block of Lehigh Avenue discovered six unauthorized withdrawals, totaling $13,000, from the resident’s bank account. The incident was reported March 13 and remains under investigation.
Scam
A resident of the 1200 block of East Emmaus Avenue found he was scammed out of $4,960 by an individual posing as someone investigating wrongdoing within the resident’s bank, according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported March 6 and remains under investigation.
Identity theft
A resident of the 2300 block of South Dauphin Street discovered someone in Kentucky applied for unemployment benefits in the resident’s name. The incident was reported March 4 and remains under investigation.
