Pediatric Cancer Club holding T-shirt fundraiser

The 2021 Emmaus High School local scholarship program for seniors is now open for applications. The deadline for applying for a scholarship is 2:30 p.m. March 29. Please see the EHS website for a link to the application, scholarship options and application instructions.

Pediatric Cancer Club is holding a fundraiser by selling T-shirts until March 12. The proceeds will go to the Lehigh Valley Health Network Pediatric Oncology fund. The shirts should be worn April 7 in acknowledgment of World Health Day. The link to order a shirt can be found on the club’s social media pages as well as on the EHS website.

March is career month at East Penn and EHS counselors have scheduled career speakers from all throughout the Lehigh Valley. Students will be able to sign up to attend these events using Naviance. The presentations will be held after school at approximately 1:15 p.m. to allow all students interested to participate. Students who do take part in these meetings are required to complete the exit survey for college/career/military visit in the “Career Readiness & Preparation 13.1” folder located in their grade level Schoology course to ensure it will count toward career readiness.

The boys varsity team will see the William Allen High School team in a match 3:30 p.m. March 17 at Oakmont Tennis Club. The boys will then play Allentown Central Catholic High School 3:30 p.m. March 19 at the EHS tennis courts.

A girls varsity softball scrimmage will be held 4:30 p.m. March 15 against Abington Heights High School. They will have another one 3:45 p.m. March 22 versus Southern Lehigh.

The Region 6 PA History Day competition will be hosted virtually by Muhlenberg College March 20.

The Class of 2024 is now conducting a fundraiser to make money for their junior prom and senior ball. The fundraiser opportunity ends March 26.

There will be a boys varsity baseball scrimmage 3:45 p.m. March 22 versus Southern Lehigh at Church Lane. The boys will then have their first game 4 p.m. March 26 home at Church Lane against Blue Mountain High School.

Kid to Kid Club will have its next club meeting March 16. Those who are attending should see the Schoology group for information and the link for the Zoom call.

The boys and girls varsity track team will have a meet 3:30 p.m. March 26 at home against Southern Lehigh.

The No Place For Hate Club will have a meeting March 24 on their Zoom.
