Missing Salisbury woman found in Allentown

A Salisbury woman previously reported missing, last seen in the 1100 block of South Cedar Crest Boulevard, Salisbury Township, Dec. 3, has been found dead.

Salisbury police and the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office identified the woman as Eleanor Camacho, 58, of the 1100 block of South Cedar Crest Boulevard.

Deputy Coroner Jack Fliter pronounced Camacho dead 4:46 p.m. Dec. 6 in the 800 block of Turner Street, Allentown, according to a media release from the coroner’s office.

The cause and manner of death are pending further investigation.

Camacho was last seen leaving the parking lot of her apartment around 5 p.m. Dec. 3 in a 2015 silver Buick sport utility vehicle. Camacho allegedly left to pick up a fare dispatched by a ride share service such as Uber or Lyft, according to Salisbury police.

Investigating agencies also include Allentown police and the Lehigh County District Attorney’s office.
