East Allen Township Parks and Recreation Department will soon begin its Walk This Way to Better Health community walking club.

The free program is held 9-10 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, starting April 7, at Bicentennial Park West.

This is open to all ages and all abilities.

Reminder: A designer purse bingo will be held March 29 at East Allen Township Volunteer Fire Department, 5354 Nor-Bath Blvd.

Doors open 11:30 a.m. Bingo begins 1 p.m.

Featured brands include Coach, Kate Spade, Michael Kors, Dooney & Bourke, Calvin Klein, Vera Bradley and more.

There will be door prizes and raffles.

A community yard sale is set for 10 a.m.-1 p.m. May 16 at Bicentennial Park East, East Allen Township.

East Allen Township Recreation Department is accepting soccer registrations for boys and girls 5 to 15 years old. Pee-wees compete in a house league at Bicentennial Park; recreation players compete in the Northern Valley Youth Soccer League; and the traveling team competes in the Lehigh Valley Youth Soccer League.

Sign-ups are being held 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays in the municipal building, 5344 Nor-Bath Blvd.
