Police have apprehended a man who allegedly robbed a woman at Wind Creek Casino Dec. 11.

According to police, Hykeem Sessoms, 38, of Bethlehem, approached the elderly woman at her car, said he was armed, and ordered her to drive him away.

He eventually fled the vehicle on foot, and he was found by officers shortly thereafter.

During the search for the suspect, several local schools were placed on a brief lockdown out of a preponderance of caution. The victim was treated at a local hospital for injuries she sustained in the assault.

Sessoms is charged with the robbery, kidnapping, assault and other related charges.
