Bath Lions Club has scheduled its annual all-toy basket raffle for 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Nov. 23 and 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Nov. 24 at Christ United Church of Christ, 109 S. Chestnut St.

The grand-prize drawing of $500, sponsored by Keystone Cement Company, will be 3:30 p.m. Nov. 24.

Bath Area Council of Churches will be holding a Thanksgiving Eve community service 7 p.m. Nov. 27 at Salem United Church of Christ, 2218 Community Drive.

The service begins with special music, and choirs from area churches will join in praise.

Emmanuel’s Lutheran Church, 3175 Valley View Drive, reminds members the ladies Bible study group meets 10:30 a.m. Monday mornings in the old fellowship hall.

The men’s Bible study group meets 7 p.m. Monday evenings in the upstairs parlor.

All are welcome to attend.

Emmanuel’s church is collecting cookies and canned pasta for Bath Area Food Bank for the month of November.

Monetary donations are also always gladly accepted.

The food bank is no longer accepting Jell-O, pudding or any type of clothing.
