Bath: Animal control available for dog-related incidents
Bath now has an animal control officer - for dogs only. For appropriate incidents involving dogs in the borough, call the nonemergency number for Pennsylvania State Police, 610-861-2026, who will dispatch the animal control officer.
Also, if you have a dog, a license is mandatory within the borough.

Bath will be holding its annual community yard sale 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Sept. 7 throughout the borough and at Ciff Cowling Park, Allen Street.

Klecknersville Rangers Volunteer Fire Company, 2718 Mountain View Drive, will be hosting a grandparents breakfast buffet 8 a.m.-noon Sept. 8. The buffet includes scrambled eggs, omelet toppings, French toast, pancakes, home fries, sausage, bacon, scrapple, creamed dried beef, waffles, fruit cup, juices, toast and hot beverages.
Also, the fire company will be having a gun bingo Sept. 14, and tickets are on sale now. Doors open 4 p.m., and bingo starts 7 p.m.
You must be 21 years of age or older to attend.
The kitchen and bar will be open. No outside food or drinks are allowed.

Governor Wolf Historical Society will hold its next monthly meeting 7 p.m. Sept. 10 on the GWHS campus, 6600 Jacksonville Road. The public is welcome.

Chapman Lodge No. 637 will be having a Fire and Ice event - five great guns, five great coolers - from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sept. 14 at Porter Chapman Masonic Lodge, 1103 Sixth St., North Catasauqua. You do not need to attend to win.
There will be more than $5,000 in prizes. Each prize will be drawn separately. Your ticket stays in for all 10 drawings.
A purchased ticket includes entry, food and beverages. Additional raffles will be held on site. You may purchase multiple tickets.

Emmanuel’s Lutheran Church, 3175 Valley View Drive, will be having a flea market in the pavilion 7 a.m.-3 p.m. Sept. 21. Proceeds from the bake sale and food and drink stands will benefit the tree fund.
Vendors are needed to sell crafts, antiques and household treasures. There is a suggested donation to rent a space. Also, volunteers are needed to bake and staff the tables.
